What is a treasure?  Kona and Stumpy have different ideas about what is a valuable treasure.  Can you think of anything that is worth more to you than money?

I think a treasure is anything that is special or valuable to you. Like Stumpy, I collect things such as feathers and rocks. But the real treasures in my life are my friends and family (and my school family, too!).

A treasure to me is anything that I value. Stumpy collects many different things. I collect Santa Claus figures and sugar buckets. My treasures are my family, especially my husband and two boys, and all my friends.

A treasure to me is my house and all my toys that bring back memories.

A treasure to me is anything you find special and meaningful. My family and my friends are treasures to me, especially my two daughters. I collect other treasures too, much like Stumpy. I love pretty rocks and books, but I also love to collect shoes and lip gloss!

Sweet chapter! The collection of 'stuff' reminds me of my mother always saying, "one man's junk is another man's treasure"
